NCATA Announces 2022 Acrobatics and Tumbling Schedule

Bobcats to Host Oregon and Baylor, Amongst Others in 2022
HAMDEN, Conn. – The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) today announced its meet schedule for the upcoming 2022 season as well as the location for the 2022 NCATA National Championships. The season is set to begin on Thursday, Feb. 3 and will run through the month of April.
The NCATA National Championships will be hosted by the University of Oregon from April 28-30 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore. The event returns to Oregon for the first time since 2011, the inaugural NCATA Championship event that was won by the Ducks. UO was slated to host the 2020 NCATA National Championships before the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The eight-team event will begin with the quarterfinals on April 28, followed by the semifinals on April 29. The individual event finals and the team championship meet will be on April 30. Meet times for the championship as well as live coverage and ticket information will be announced this winter.

Quinnipiac is slated to open its season at home on February 5 as the Bobcats host East Stroudsburg and Gannon at the People's United Center.
The Bobcats then head to Kutztown, Pa. for a road meet on February 18 before nearly a month layoff leading into another road competition against Frostburg State in Maryland on March 12.
Mary Ann Powers' squad returns to Hamden to host Baylor on March 19 and remains home to welcome Oregon on April 3.
The final regular season contest for Quinnipiac will be a road meet at Gannon University on April 9.
All dates, times and locations on the 2022 NCATA schedule are subject to change. The scheduled meets are contingent upon the ability to conduct the sport safely while adhering to state and local guidelines and COVID-19 testing requirements at each member institution utilizing NCATA and NCAA guidelines for high-risk classified sports.
Spectators for 2022 Acrobatics & Tumbling meets will be at the discretion of each competing institution and will be considered based on state and local guidelines and social distancing protocols to keep all student-athletes, coaches, officials and game day personnel safe at all times.
