Bobcats Head Back to Boston to Compete at New England Championships

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field team will compete at the NEICAAA Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. Competition is set to begin on Friday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.

- Sophomore Kalli'ana Botelho will compete in the 60m hurdles, alongside sophomore Symone Foster and first-year Sweet. Botelho will also run in the 200m dash.
- Sophomore Kate Gihorski and junior Samantha Leal with both represent Quinnipiac in the 5000m run.
- In the 60m dash, the Bobcats have two first-years competing - Tara Zeni and Hayden Robinson.
- Junior Karissa Laramie and seniors Meaghan Scullin and Melissa Solomon will race in the 400m dash.
- Senior Ahmetra Davies will represent Quinnipiac in the 500m dash.
- The 800m run with have junior Brooke Hagen and senior Megahan Curtin competing.
- Sophomore Katie Bradley, junior Gabby Prizio and senior Kaitlin Bakas will race in the 1000m run.
- Quinnipiac will have five athletes in the 1 mile run - first-year Clare Veverka, sophomore Emily Young and seniors Amy Laverty and Sara Wilcox.
- First-years Shannon Goria, Marisa Keiser, sophomore Mia Pestle, and junior Amanda Carlson will compete in the 3000m run.
- Sweet, Zeni and senior Meaghan Scullin are set to represent the Bobcats in the long jump event.
- In the high jump, Botelho will compete with the first jump set to begin at 2:45 p.m.
- Zeni, Sweet and junior Britney Del Mundo will compete in the triple jump.
- Senior Mikah Maples with represent the Bobcats in the shot put.
