Quinnipiac Earns First MAAC Indoor Title in Program History

NEW YORK — The Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field program are MAAC Champions for the first time in program history.
The Bobcats totaled 173.5 points, the most in program history in the meet and ran away from the competition en route to their crowning moments.
Izzie Anzaldo earned both Most Outstanding Women's Track Performer and Most Valuable Performer, winning the titles in the 200m, 400m and the 4x400 relay to aid the Bobcats' cause.
In the field events, Talia Graham and Lauren Fadairo both earned podium finishes with Graham tying her program record by hitting 3.80m in the pole vault. Fadairo placed third in the triple jump, hitting 12.03m with her first attempt.
Quinnipiac punctuated the event by taking home both relays, winning the 4x800 in 9:07.15 and the 4x400 in 3:50.17.

TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
- Sydney Lavelle matched her PR in the 60m hurdles, finishing in 8.85.
- Isabella Anzaldo moved 0.02 shy of the program record in the 200m, running the fastest race by a Bobcat since 2018.
- Kiera Baxter also moved up in the 200m program charts, clocking in at 24.87.
- Michelle Tota also improved her top 10 time, finishing in 25.14 in the race.
- Anzaldo also climbed in the 400m top 10 chart, finishing in 54.57 to move to third.
- Zoe Merryman bumped up to sixth in the 5k in program history with her time of 17:00.38.
- Graham matched her program record in the pole vault, hitting 3.80m in her second attempt.
- Lauren Boyd jumped the longest by any Bobcat since 2020, marking 5.72m.
- The 4x400 relay team of Sydney Lavelle, Izzie Anzaldo, Kiera Baxter and Michelle Tota finished in 3:50.17, good for seventh all-time.
- Zoe Merryman, Weronika Lewna, Ashlynn Witt and Claire O'Sullivan ran the 4x800 in a top ten time as well, finishing in 9:07.15 which puts them seventh.
