Peralta, Sakoda Compete in Pro Tour Event

Peralta Takes Fifth, Second Highest Amateur
SUN CITY, Ariz. - First-year golfers Kaylee Sakoda and Leeyen Peralta competed in a Cactus Tour event at Sun City Country Club in Sun City, Arizona last week. Peralta earned a fifth-place overall finish and finished as the second highest amateur in the field.
Sakoda placed 11th in the event and was the fourth-highest amateur to compete.
Peralta finished with a three-round total of 223 (+7), including an even-par 72 in the second round. The Brea, California native was one of just five golfers to post a round of even par or better in the event.
Sakoda rebounded from an opening-round 80 with a 75 and 78 in the final two rounds.
The Bobcats will return to action as a full squad on February 10, when the team travels to Boca Raton, Florida for the Florida Atlantic Invitational at Osprey Point Golf Club. See the entire spring schedule HERE.
