Senior Leads Bobcats in Second Straight Meet

LINCOLN, R.I. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team finished third overall out of 11 teams at the Shawn Nassaney Invitational hosted by Bryant on Saturday, Sept. 7. Senior Michael Kiernan led the Bobcats in the second weekend in a row with a third place finish overall with a time of 25:06.8 in the 8k race.

RESULTS

Finishing first for the Bobcats was senior Michael Kiernan with a third-place finish (25:06.8).
Sophomore Cam Starr recorded a time of 25:52.8 and took 10th place.
In 19th place, sophomore Jack Hilton recorded a time of 28:08.8.
Freshman Dylan Manning took 26th place with a time of 26:12.9. Following close behind was junior Jeff Venter with a time of 29th place (26:14.4.).
Sophomore Max Stensile took 35th place (26:24.3), and sophomore Matthew Burke finished in 36th place (26:27.4).
In 52nd place, senior Matthew Allen recorded a time of 27:05.2. Right behind him was freshman Matthew Rene with a time of 27:05.9 in 53rd place.
Sophomore Jacob St. Onge came in 69th place (27:18.8), and Joe Lazzaro finished with St. Onge in 70th place (27:20.1).
Freshman Gary Saunter took 76th (27:36.0), and senior Tommy Consalvo placed 80th (27:47.1).
