Bobcats Capture Fifth Place at Henry Mercer Invitational

HOLMDEL, N.J.. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country took fifth of 11 teams at the 25th Annual Henry Mercer Invitational at Holmdel Park. Senior Michael Kiernan led the Bobcats for the third straight week and has tallied a top five finish in the last two meets. He took fifth place with a time of 26:34.39 in the five-mile run.

- The second Bobcat to finish was sophomore Jack Hilton in 25th place (27:23.17).
- Right behind Hilton was freshman Dylan Manning in 27th (27:28.83).
- Senior Matthew Allen recorded a time of 27:33.40 in 29th place.
- In 36th place, Jeffrey Venter tallied a time of 27:42.57.
- Sophomore Max Stenslie took 42nd (27:51.66).
- Sophomore Jacob St. Onge recorded a time of 28:36.15.
- Freshman Matthew Rene took 78th place (29:01.95), and sophomore Cameron Starr finished in 85th (29:12.71).
- Senior Joe Lazzaro recorded a time of 29:16.73 and finished in 89th place.
- In 127th, freshman Gary Sautner finished with a time of 30:57.51.
