Bobcats Record Second Straight Win, Improve to 4-0 All-Time vs. King

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling picked up its second straight dominating win of the season as the Bobcats defeated the King Tornado, 275.285-252.200 in ECAC competition Thursday night.

Quinnipiac's 275.285 was a season-high for points as the Bobcats have increased their season-total in each of the first four meets. The Bobcats recorded seven season-highs and tied their season-highs in three other events.

The Bobcats also recorded season-highs in the tumbling and team events in Thursday's meet.

NOTES

The Bobcats recorded season-highs in four of the six acrobatics and tumbling meets, posting top scores in the first four heats of the event
Melanie Mancini followed up last week's 9.750 in the open pass of tumbling as she was electric to tie the season-high.
In the tumbling event, the Bobcats scored a 55.425, up 0.325 from last Saturday's 55.100.
Quinnipiac also saw an increase in the team event which gets better and better each meet.
The Bobcats' best improvement came in the toss round where the season-high for a synchronized toss had been just 9.40 before Thursday's 9.85.
After posting the same top score of 9.85 in the open toss, the Bobcats tied a season-high with 29.20 in the event
The Bobcats also improved in the 6-Element Heat of Acro as they recorded a wild 9.80 in the heat, besting last weekend's 9.55 scored against West Liberty
