Lexie Adzija Named ECAC Rookie of the Week

ALBANY, N.Y. - Freshman Lexie Adzija was named the ECAC Rookie of the Week for play from Feb. 11-16. This is the second time this season the freshman forward has received the award after getting it the first week of the season after a series with Ohio State.
Adzija recorded three assists this weekend as the Bobcats downed RPI, 4-0, and Union, 5-0. She has tallied at least one point in the last six consecutive games. She went +4 against RPI and Union, tallied nine shots and won 63% off her faceoffs.
The St. Thomas, Ontario native has seven goals and 11 assists in her first collegiate season for 18 total points. In ECAC play, Adzija is tied for fourth overall in freshmen scoring with 14 points.
The Bobcats have one regular season weekend left, as the team will travel to North Country to take on #5 Clarkson and St. Lawrence on Feb. 22-23.
