Ives Earns Second-Straight ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week Award

ALBANY, N.Y. - Senior netminder Abbie Ives earned the ECAC Hockey MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week for the second week in a row, as announced by the league on Monday, Dec. 2. This is the team's fourth ECAC Hockey award of the season.
Ives and the Bobcats went 2-0 on the weekend and won the 2019 Nutmeg Championship. Against No. 10/10 Minnesota Duluth in the opening game of the tournament, Ives made a career-high 42 saves in the Bobcats' 4-2 win. In the championship game, the senior recorded 35 saves against Yale and led the team to a 3-1 win. She stopped 76 of 79 shots faced this weekend.
The Bedford Hills native holds a 6-5-3 record this season with a .931 save percentage and 1.69 goals against average.
Quinnipiac is back in action on Friday, Dec. 6 against Colgate at 6 p.m.
