HOLMDEL, N.J. - The Quinnipiac women's cross country team took fifth at the 2019 MAAC Championships. Sophomore Emily Young finished first for the Bobcats with a time of 22:28.24 in 11th place overall. The Iona women's team captured their fifth consecutive 2019 MAAC Championship.

QUINNIPIAC RESULTS (Women's 6k Race)

Senior Morgan Voight finished close behind Young in 14th place with a time of 22:32.70.
Senior Amy Laverty tallied a 37th place finish with a time of 23:35.40.
In 39th place, senior Meghan Curtin recorded a time of 23:37.70.
Right behind Curtin was junior Amanda Carlson in 40th with a time of 23:40.15.
First-year Marisa Keiser finished in 42nd (23:41.43), and first-year Clare Veverka took 44th place (23:42.96).
Junior Brooke Hagen took 47th place with a time of 23:49.03.
Senior Kaitlin Bakas placed 52nd place with a time of 23:58.58.
Junior Samantha Leal and sophomore Mia Pestle took 55th and 56th place with times of 24:11.52 and 24:12.59, respectively.
With a time of 24:25.40, senior Sara Wilcox took 63rd place.
Sophomore Katie Bradley recorded a time of 24:52.73 in 76th place. Right behind her was Danielle Marcone and Kate Gihorski with time of 24:53.86 and 24:56.03.
First-year Shannon Goria placed in 82nd with a time of 25:04.28.
In 88th place, senior Ellie Songer recorded a time of 25:10.92.
Sophomore Madeleine Shellard placed in 90th with a time of 25:23.88.
First-year Cassidy Phillips took 111th with a time of 26:22.0.
