
Women's Cross Country Wraps Up Season at NCAA Regionals

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The women's cross country team wrapped up the competitive season with a 21st place team finish at the 2019 NCAA Northeast Regional. Senior Morgan Voight finished first for the Bobcats in 78th place with a time of 21:06.2 in the women's 6k. Harvard took first overall in team points, followed by Cornell and Boston College. Albany's Hannah Reinhardt took first overall with a time of 19:28.4. The University of Buffalo hosted the meet at the Audubon Golf Course in Amherst, N.Y.

- Voight's time was a personal best on the season.
- Sophomore Emily Young finished in 99th for the Bobcats with a time of 21:06.2, which was a personal best this season.
- First-year Clare Veverka took 131st with a time of 21:49.7.
- In 137th place, senior Meghan Curtin tallied a time of 21:52.3.
- The sixth-best time for the Bobcats was junior Amanda Carlson in 146th with her own personal best time this season in the 6k (22:06.1).
- Senior Amy Laverty recorded a time of 22:51.2 in 198th place.
- First-year Shannon Goria finished in 232nd place with a time of 23:52.2.
