HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's cross country program, winners of four consecutive conference titles, released its 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon, a six-meet slate that begins on Sept. 5 on Long Island at the annual Stony Brook Season Opener.
Carolyn Martin's club has topped each of the last four conference meets, with the latter starting a 2025-26 triple crown season that saw her program earn all three MAAC titles in cross country / track and field, a program first and the first team since 2002-03 to do it in the conference.
After its season-opener, the Bobcats will get a preview of the Metro Conference Championship course on Sept. 19 when they head to the Manhattan Invite at the Blue Sky Sports Complex.
The national portion of its schedule begins in October when the squad heads to the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 2 and the Under Armour Pre-National Invite at Indiana on Oct. 16.
Championship season starts on Halloween with the Metro Championships before heading to the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 13.
Quinnipiac returns four of their top six runners from last year's championship, including All-Conference selections Madeleine O'Neill and Zoe Merryman, as well as All-Rookie performers Ashley Carillo and Alyssa Turns.
