
Brian Moskey Named MAAC Baseball Player of the Week

HAMDEN, Connecticut - Quinnipiac junior Brian Moskey was named MAAC Player of the Week after his performance against Gardner-Webb last weekend. He is the first Bobcat to garner a weekly MAAC award this season.
Moskey's weekend was highlighted by the victory on Sunday. He was 2-4 with a triple and a home run. The home run was a grand slam that he launched with no outs in the top of the first inning. His triple plated two more runs in the top of the fifth. He became the first Bobcat to drive home six runs since May 18, 2013, when Vincent Guglietti did so.He batted .417 on the weekend with a .917 slugging percentage. He also had a double and an RBI in Game 2.
