QU Women's Basketball Closes Regular Season With 77-57 Win Over Monmouth on Senior Day

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's basketball team finished the MAAC regular season undefeated with an 18-0 record after defeating the Monmouth Hawks 77-55, Sunday, Feb. 25. The Bobcats have finished the regular season undefeated in conference play for the third time in program history and third time in six seasons.
The win came on the Senior Day for Quinnipiac's three seniors, Carly Fabbri (Stratford, Connecticut), Sarah Shewan (Russell, Ontario) and Brittany Johnson (Pickerington, Ohio) who were honored prior to the game. Fabbri went on to score a game-high 21 points in what was her final regular season home game at the TD Bank Sports Center.

The Bobcats will open up MAAC Tournament play in the Quarterfinals on Friday, March 2nd at 1 p.m. at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
