Cross Country Set to Compete at the MAAC Championship

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac men's and women's cross country teams travel to Siena to compete at the MAAC Championship meet on Saturday. The men's 8k meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and the women's 6k meet starts at noon.
Iona's men's cross country team has won 28 consecutive MAAC titles, and the Iona's women's cross country team is looking to win their third consecutive title.
Quinninpiac's men's team placed eighth at the 2017 MAAC Championship, and the women's team finished third overall at the 2017 meet.
The men's team was last in action at the Princeton Invitational where they placed 16thout of 20 teams. The women's team was last in action at the CCSU Mini Meet where the team placed eighth out of 14 teams.
Tommy Consalvo finished 81stoverall with a time of 25:27.6 for the men at the Princeton Invitational. For the women, Maria Ricalton finished 15thoverall with a time of 10:28.9 at the CCSU Mini Meet.
