HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer continued its conference success on Wednesday afternoon, cruising past Niagara, 3-0, from the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium.
With the win, the Bobcats improve to 6-1-1 in MAAC play, moving into a tie with Fairfield for first place in the conference standings (19 points). Fairfield is set to square off with Marist tonight at 7:00 p.m.

Evan Hughes (Famington, Conn.) sent a perfect pass into the box toward Vila Rotxes, who blasted a one-timer into the back of the net.

Dally blasted a shot on goal, then Whelan located the save and tapped it in to the back of the net.
· 50:20 (Quinnipiac 3, Niagara 0): The Bobcats then scored just over two minutes later, as Salah Oumorou (West Haven, Conn.) earned his first goal of the season. Whelan played the ball in to Oumorou, who juked the charging goalkeeper and tapped the ball in to make it 3-0.
