HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell to New Hampshire, 4-2, on Friday night. Freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) tallied her eighth goal of the year, as junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) recorded her team-leading 11th goal of the season.

SCORING SUMMARY
- 2:02 2nd Period (QU 1-0): Brooke Bonsteel found the puck in the crease off the rebound from UNH goalie Ava Boutilier and put a move on for the beautiful backhand score.
- 3:16 2nd Period (UNH 1-1): Things were quickly tied up as Carlee Turner scored her seventh goal of the season just a minute after Bonsteel's goal.
- 6:04 2nd Period (QU 2-1): After flying past UNH's defense, Melissa Samoskevich had an open lane to the net, finishing the breakaway to give the Bobcats the lead.
- 9:46 2nd Period (UNH 2-2): UNH was able to tie things up once again after Meghara McManus found the back of the net.
- 15:29 2nd Period (UNH 3-2): Carlee Turner followed up her seventh goal of the season with her second of the game to give UNH the 3-2 lead to close out the second period.
- 18:49 3rd Period (UNH 4-2): Amy Schlagel scored on the empty net goal with less than two minutes to play.

- Freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) tallied her eighth goal of the season, her first since scoring against Princeton in a 3-1 victory on Dec. 9, 2017.
- Junior captain Melissa Samoskevich (Sandy Hook, Connecticut) recorded her team-leading 11th goal of the season with her second period score.
- The goal is Samoskevich's second in her last two games.
- Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) nabbed her team-leading 12th helper of the season on Samoskevich's goal. She is the first Bobcat to record twenty points this season.
- Lancaster finished the game as the team leader in shots (8).
- Freshman Grace Markey (West Bloomfield, Michigan) recorded her first ever collegiate point with an assist on Brooke Bonsteel's goal.
- Freshman Taylor House (Joliet, Illinois) tallied an assist, her third of the year.3
- Despite the loss, the Bobcats outshot UNH 32-27.
