
Quinnipiac Athletics to Host Mascot Auditions On Tuesday, Sept. 19

Quinnipiac Athletics will host mascot auditions on Tuesday, Sept. 19th from 6-7:30 p.m. at the TD Bank Sports Center. Auditions to be the next Boomer the Bobcat are open to the public as well as all Quinnipiac students.
Qualifications and requirements for the new Boomer the Bobcat are as follows:

Qualifications:
- Dazzling dance ability
- Flexibility with probable acrobatic skills
- Handling, dribbling, shooting and possibly dunking a basketball
- Ice skating abilities (while in costume)
- Skate while carrying the Quinnipiac flag
- Personally interact with the fans in the crowd (safely) (i.e. dancing with little kids)
- Outgoing and creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun
- Willingness to perform silly promotional activities on-court and in the community
Requirements:
- Commitment to appearances at other various Quinnipiac Athletic events including varsity athletic contests
- Personally interact with the fans in the crowd (safely) (i.e. dancing with little kids)
- Commit to appearances on campus and community events to promote school spirit
- Availability to work scheduled event dates, including semester breaks
- Represent Quinnipiac University in a positive manner on-and-off campus
