QU Men's & Women's Ice Hockey Hosts "Pink at the Rink" On Saturday, Oct. 24

Quinnipiac University's nationally-ranked men's and women's ice hockey programs will host "Pink at the Rink" on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. The annual event benefits breast cancer research.
Pink t-shirts will be available for sale in the lobby of the TD Bank Sports Center and can be purchased for $10. Proceeds from the t-shirt sales will go to the Smilow Cancer Research Center at Yale New Haven Hospital. Bobcat fans are also encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer research.
The No. 8 women's ice hockey team will host Yale at 4 p.m. at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. Quinnipiac enters the game at 3-0-1 including a 0-0-0 mark in ECAC Hockey while Yale will play for the first time this year. No. 14 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey will host No. 9 St. Cloud State for the second game of its two-game set. The bobcats knocked off the Huskies on Friday, Oct. 23, 5-2.
