
Chelsea Laden named ECAC Hockey Women's Goaltender of the Week

Albany, New York – No. 4/4 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey senior goaltender Chelsea Laden (Lakeville, Minnesota) has been honored as the ECAC Hockey Women's Goaltender of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Laden had previously won the Women's Goaltender of the Week award on Oct. 21 and was also named ECAC Hockey Women's Goaltender of the Month for October.
This past weekend Laden kept her undefeated record intact by going 1-0-1 against the No. 5 Clarkson Golden Knights and St. Lawrence Saints. Laden started off the weekend shutting out the Golden Knights with a 15 save performance. It was her second shutout of a USCHO Top 10 team this season and seventh shutout overall. The following night, Laden recorded a season-high 17 saves in a 2-2 tie with the Saints and earn a point.
Laden continues to be one of the top goaltenders in the nation as she improved her record to 10-0-1 on the season. Laden is still first in the nation in GAA (0.45), save percentage (.962), and shutouts (7) while her winning percentage is good for second in the country at .955.
The Bobcats return to action on Tuesday night when they face their ECAC travel partner Princeton at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink in Princeton, New Jersey with puck drop scheduled for 7 P.M.
