QU Women's Volleyball Kicks off MAAC Tournament Against Canisius on ESPN3 On Thursday, Nov. 20 at 11 AM

Kissimmee, Fla. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats will begin the 2014 MAAC Volleyball Tournament against the Canisius College Golden Griffins on Thursday Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. Not only will this be a rematch for the Bobcats after falling to Canisius by the score of 3-0 over the past weekend, this matchup against the Golden Griffins will be nationally televised on ESPN 3.
Quinnipiac enters the tournament as the 10th seed in the MAAC while Canisius is ranked seventh. If the Bobcats win their matchup against Canisius they will be back in action later that day at 5:00 p.m. to take on the second seed in the tournament, the Siena Saints. Both Marist and Siena have earned byes with the two best records in the MAAC with Marist taking the regular season MAAC crown. If the Bobcats fall to the Golden Griffins, their next game will be on Friday Nov. 21 at 11:00 a.m. In that scenario, Quinnipiac would take on the loser of the Marist vs. Iona/Saint Peter's which will be played on Thursday evening.
