No. 1 Bobcats' NCAA Tournament Game Against Canisius On Saturday, Mar. 30 Can Be Seen Live On ESPN3, NESN

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The nationally-ranked No. 1 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team's NCAA Tournament East Regional match-up against tournament No. 16-seed Canisius will be available live on NESN throughout the Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island area, in addition to ESPN3 all over the world. The broadcast will feature ESPN SportsCenter anchor John Buccigross with the play-by-play and former Los Angeles Kings head coach Barry Melrose with the color commentary.
The Bobcats and Golden Griffs will hit the ice at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. at 5:30 p.m. Should Quinnipiac advance, the Regional Final would be available on ESPNU on Sunday, Mar. 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Quinnipiac received the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and currently stands at 27-7-5 for the year. The Bobcats are coming off a weekend that saw them defeat No. 11/13 Yale, 3-0, to improve to 12-0-0 against teams ranked in the Top-20 in the national polls. The Bobcats are currently ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division I poll, the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll and have held down the top spot in the PairWise Rankings since Jan. 19, 2013. Saturday's game will mark the second NCAA Tournament appearance for Quinnipiac, with the first coming in 2002.
