Grasso's name is stamped all over the QU Division I record book. In addition to his scoring record, he's second in three-point field goals (216), third in assists (404) and three-point field goal percentage (39.4%), and fourth in free throws made (233). Grasso is also the Quinnipiac Division I Single-Season leader in three-point field-goal percentage at 43.1 percent (69-160) in 1999-2000. In his senior season of 2001-02, Grasso led Quinnipiac to its only appearance in the Northeast Conference Tournament Finals.
Grasso still stands as Quinnipiac's "Ironman," starting the first 71 games of his career, the longest streak to begin a career in program Division I history. The next closest streak is the active stretch of 37 consecutive starts by sophomore James Johnson (Queens, N.Y.). He also became the first Quinnipiac sophomore to score 30 points in a game at the Division I level with a 32-point performance against Dartmouth on Dec. 11, 1999. Only current Quinnipiac junior Justin Rutty (Newburgh, N.Y.) has matched the feat (30 points at Maine, Nov. 24, 2008) in the Bobcats' 12-year Division I history.
