Overall, Quinnipiac has won six of the seven five Cleary Cups as ECAC Hockey Regular Season Champions. He was a key component of the Bobcats’ title run, engineering the faceoff play that helped clinch the program’s first national championship.

This included the explosion of sophomore Collin Graf, who landed on the Hobey Baker Top 10 List and was named a Second Team All-American, and classmate Jacob Quillan, who totaled 38 points during his sophomore campaign including the game-winner en route to Frozen Four MOP honors.
The 2021-22 campaign also saw very high success in the same categories, as the Bobcats totaled the fourth-most points of any team in the country at 378. Dumais also helped coach Odeen Tufto to the league player of the year and CCM/AHCA All-America honors, Petruzzelli to Goaltender of the Year and both to Hobey Baker Award Top 10 Finalist.
The Bobcats clinched a share of the Cleary Cup as ECAC Hockey Regular Season Champions in 2018-19 and returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since Dumais' arrival. The Bobcats reached the Midwest Regional Final after picking up a win over Arizona State in the first round.

During Dumais’ time at Union he helped guide the Dutchmen to the 2014 NCAA National Championship. In addition to the Dutchmen’s success in the national tournament, Dumais also helped develop three All-Americans, six All-ECAC Hockey selections and a pair of ECAC Hockey All-Rookie team picks.

In addition, Dumais also worked with the Dutchmen’s special teams that saw its power-play unit rank among the national leaders consistently over the last five years.
