Worcester, Mass. – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team opened their season with a 2-2 draw on the road at Holy Cross on Wednesday evening. Klara Bengtsson and Morgan Cupo netted goals for the Bobcats, while Skye Cuscuna recorded her first assist as a Bobcat.
Twenty minutes of scoreless soccer ended when Klara Bengtsson netted QU's first goal of the 2026 season. Skye Cuscuna found the ball off a Holy Cross turnover and sent a pass to an open Klara Bengtsson, who netted her first goal of the campaign.
Just under 13 minutes later, Morgan Cupo made a run down the far sideline before beating the Holy Cross keeper with a shot to the far post, doubling the Quinnipiac lead.
Quinnipiac entered halftime with a 2-0 lead, but two goals in 4:18 by the Crusaders early in the second half forced a 2-2 draw to open the season.
