Carly Fabbri has been named an Assistant Coach of the Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball team on Monday, July 7th, and will enter her first season in 2025-26.   
The daughter of head coach Tricia Fabbri returns to her alma mater after playing for the Bobcats from 2014 to 2018. Fabbri had a phenomenal senior season for Quinnipiac, earning All-MAAC Third Team honors and MAAC All-Tournament Team honors. Fabbri was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and the MAAC All-Academic Team. The Stratford, Connecticut, native averaged 9.6 points per game and was ranked 11th in the nation with a 2.90 assist-to-turnover ratio, recording 142 assists and 49 turnovers. Fabbri celebrated her senior day in a big way, dropping a season-high 21 points in her final game in Hamden.
 
In her junior season, Fabbri appeared in all 36 games, averaging 5.4 points, 2.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 21.7 minutes per game. Fabbri had a stellar MAAC Tournament, scoring 11 PPG, dishing out 3.0 APG, and grabbing 3.0 RPG as she earned MAAC All-Tournament Team honors for the first time in her career. Her 39 made three-pointers on the season ranked third on the team, and she ranked second on the team with 93 assists.
 
Fabbri took a big step in her sophomore season as she assumed starting point guard duties and developed into one of the elite three-point shooters in the league. In the road contest at Rider in February, Fabbri scored a career-high 17 points and knocked down all three attempts from three-point range in the win. Fabbri posted 11 points in two WNIT Appearances and grabbed eight rebounds in QU’s second-round contest against Temple. At the end of her sophomore season, Fabbri was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and finished the season ranked 12th in the MAAC in assists per game, tied for sixth in three-point percentage, and tied for 12th in three-pointers made per game (1.5).
 
Fresh out of Lauralton Hall, Fabbri appeared in 18 games for the Bobcats in her first season. Fabbri knocked down her first collegiate three-pointer in a home contest against Hampton and scored a season-high six points in five minutes against Rider. Quinnipiac earned an NCAA Tournament berth after defeating the Marist Red Foxes in the MAAC Title Game.
 
Fabbri came to Quinnipiac after four tremendous years at Lauralton Hall in Milford, CT. Fabbri concluded her high school career with a CIAC Championship title, bringing the Crusaders their first title in school history. In her high school career, Fabbri and the Crusaders won three South West Conference titles and made two trips to the CIAC Championship Game. Fabbri earned a long list of accolades, including MSG Varisty Connecticut Player of the Year, CT Post Most Valuable Player, SWC Tournament MVP, MSG All-Metro Second Team, and New Haven Register All-State. Fabbri also dominated inside the classroom as she was a four-year honor roll student, Vice President of the National Honor Society, a Summa Scholar, and the recipient of the Yale Book Award.
