- Continued to dominate at the MAAC Championships, taking two more victories in the 200m and 400m dash, bumping her career total up to six MAAC gold medals at the indoor conference championships
- Earned her first victory of the season with a first place finish in the 4x400m relay at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout (12/11), crossing the line in 3:51.97
- Took the first place victory in the 400m, crossing the line in 55.48 at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout
- Opened the season placing fourth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.83 at the Yale Season Opener (12/5)
- Placed 11th in the 200m dash (25.08) at the Great Dane Classic (1/16)
- Picked up a second place finish in the BU Scarlet and White (2/6) meet as she crossed the line in 54.70
- Showed well at the Valentine Invitational (2/12) as she placed eighth in the 400m (54.59) and 15th in the 200m (24.55)
- Posted a solid all-around effort at the MAAC Championships (2/21) as she won the 200m dash (24.52) and 400m (54.71) while placing third in the 60m dash (7.73)
- Helped lead the Bobcats to a solid fourth place showing at the New England Championships (2/21) in the 4x400m relay as the team crossed the line in 3:48.67
- Placed fifth overall in the 400m at the ECAC Championships (3/6) as she came through with a time of 54.25

- Displayed superior skill at the MAAC Championships (2/21) as she became the first Bobcat in program history to win the conference's highest individual honor
- Samuels swept all three sprint events (60m, 200m, 400m) in what was also a groundbreaking achievement becoming the first Quinnipiac athlete to claim victories in the 60m and 200m at the conference championship level
- Established new program records in the 60m (7.65 seconds), 200m (24.30 seconds) and 400m (53.72 seconds) throughout the season
- Highlighted her season by besting a 27-year-old meet record at the New England Championships as Samuels captured the 400m victory with a record-breaking time of 53.72 seconds
- Also matched a meet record at the MAAC Championships as her time of 24.30 seconds captured her the individual victory
- Coming into the 2014-15 season without any career 60m dash appearances, Samuels starting strong with a 6th place finish and record-breaking time of 7.89 seconds at the Yale Season Opener (12/6)
- Took 3rd place at the Yale Season Opener in the 200m witha time of 24.84 seconds
- Bested the program record again in the 60m with a time of 7.78 seconds at the Yale Invitational (1/10)
- Placed 4th overall out of 106 competitors at the Gotham Cup (1/16) in the 400m with a time of 55.43 seconds
- Took 4th at the Metro Team Challenge (1/23) in the 200m with a time of 24.92 seconds
- Clocked in with a program record in the 400m at the Terrier Invite (1/30) with a time of 54.19 seconds to place 4th out of 132 runners
- Placed 4th overall in the 60m dash with a time of 7.80 seconds at the URI Coaches Invitational (2/7)
- Was victorious in the 400m at the Valentine Invitational (2/13) as she placed 1st out of 152 competitors with a program record time of 54.16 seconds
- Posted her best 200m time of the season with a program record 24.24 seconds to place 9th overall out of 230 at the Valentine Invitational
- Samuels legged out a photo finish in the 60m dash at the MAAC Championships (2/21) as she finished .005 seconds ahead of second place with a program record time of 7.653 seconds
- Tied the meet record with a time of 24.30 seconds in the 200m dash at the MAAC Championships to place 1st overall
- Dominated the competition with a 1st place finish and time of 54.82 seconds in the 400m at the MAAC Championships
- Put on a show at the New England Championships (2/28) as she placed first in the preliminaries before dazzling in the finals with a meet record time of 53.72 seconds to capture her second straight 400m title
- Placed 3rd overall in the 400m at the ECAC Championships (3/8) as she finished with a time of 54.31 seconds in the finals
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013-14:
- Put together the most impressive single-season in Quinnipiac women’s track history
- Samuels finished the season as the New England and MAAC Champion in the 400m, becoming Quinnipiac’s first ever individual champion at the conference level and throughout the region, respectively
- She also shared a piece of the 4x400m New England Championship with three of her teammates (Ulrich, B. Stabile and Baker), becoming Quinnipiac’s first relay team New England Champion in program history
- Samuels' laurels in her signature event, the 400m, grasped attention across the nation as her best time of 2013-14 (54.38 seconds) ranked in the Top 10 nationally among sophomores and 2nd-fastest time for underclassmen throughout the country
- She also became Quinnipiac’s first ECAC finalist as she placed 6th overall with a time of 55.20 seconds at the ECAC Championships (3/9)
- In all, Samuels put together a season in which she broke program records on nine of her 19 total events run throughout 2013-14 (47.4 percent)
- She also helped compiled 23 out of Quinnipiac’s total 62 points (37.1 percent) at the MAAC Championships, helping lift the Bobcats to 6thplace at the conference championships
- Samuels scored three event victories throughout the season, giving her 4 for her career after just two seasons as a Bobcats, as well as 11 Top 5 finishes and 14 Top 10 results out of her 19 total completed events
- Her signature moment came at the New England Championships where, as a sophomore, Samuels was seeded No. 1 overall heading into the competition
- After qualifying for the final with a time of 55.08 seconds, a program record at the time and first overall at the event, Samuels blitzed the competition with a time of 54.38 seconds in the finals to secure the New England Championship (2/28) and the first ever individual title for Quinnipiac
- Her program record time of 54.38 seconds was .70 seconds faster than her previous program best and she also legged out competition from the New England Championship team Northeastern by .15 seconds
- Also at the New England Championships, Samuels also helped pull off one of the most stunning upsets in the history of the Quinnipiac program
- Racing in the first heat, which typically is where the lower seeded teams are slotted, Samuels and three other Bobcat put together a triumphant performance and stunned the competition with the overall victory in the 4x400m relay at the New England Championships
- Samuels, Baker, B. Stabile and Ulrich combined to run a 3.47.66 to give the Bobcats their first ever relay event victory at the New Englands
- Samuels and the Bobcats again finished ahead of the New England Champs Northeastern in the event as all four Bobcats in competition ran personal best individual splits, led by Samuels’ 54.4 second 400m lap at the event
- Samuels continued to pad her resume in helping the Bobcats land a program record in the distance medley relay at the New England Championships with a time of 11:46.92 that gave the Bobcats 5th place overall
- Samuels also won the 300m at Harvard (2/1) with a time of 39.68 seconds earlier in the season
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012-13:
- Competed in the 200m dash at Yale and finished in 25.95 seconds breaking the school record
- Competed in the 500m event and came in 1st at Yale with a time of 1:16.20
- Competed in the 800m and took 4th at URI when she crossed the line at 2:25.86
- Placed 7th in the NEC finals in the 400m with a time of 58.77 seconds
- Took 7th in the finals at the New England Championships where she earned All-New England honors with her time of 56.92 seconds in the 400m
- Broke the school record four times in the 400m with her fastest time being 56.00 seconds which she accomplished at the ECAC Championships
BEFORE QUINNIPIAC:
- Graduated from Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Conn.
- Lettered in cross country, indoor and outdoor track during her high school career
- Ran on some very successful teams in high school but she also took home numerous individual titles including the 400m CSC Conference Champion, 600m CSC Conference Champion, 800m CSC Conference Champion, and she was named the Constitution State Conference MVP for Outdoor 2012
- Posted an incredible time of 57.17 on May 30 to take second place at the CT Class S Championship
- Claimed many first place finishes during the 2012 outdoor season but finished with a career-best time of 41.84 in the 300 meters at the Yale Invitational where she claimed fourth place
- Ran a career-best time of 1:38.36 at the State Open during the 2012 indoor season in the 600m
- Ran to a career-best 200m time of 26.78 seconds during the 2011 outdoor season
- Ran on some incredible relay teams during the 2010 outdoor season as she was on five different first place teams during the season
- Twice in the 4x100m relay, twice in the 4x400m relay, and once in the 4x800m she helped her team race to a first place finish
