Graham Breaks Own Program Mark in Pole Vault, Highlighting Yale Season Opener

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Sophomore Talia Graham re-set her program record in the pole vault, marking a 3.80m to best her previous mark in the first meet of the 2025-26 indoor track and field season.
She hit on her first five attempts, climbing from 3.20m to the record 3.80m to win the event.
Quinnipiac took home wins in five separate events, including first-years making their mark with Kayleanne Campbell and Zoe Santos each hitting 1.68m to tie for the win in the high jump.
On the track, Nyasia Dailey and Alessandra Zaffina made their returns to the winners' circle, winning the 60m and 3000m events respectively. Kiera Baxter and Michelle Tota finished 1-2 in the 200m and the Bobcats capped their day with a win in the 4x400, with Izzie Anzaldo and Sydney Lavelle joining Baxter and Tota to earn the victory.
TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
Quinnipiac will be off for the holiday break and then return to action on Jan. 17, taking part in the URI Invitational to begin its lead up to the MAAC Indoor Championships.

- Campbell and Santos both jumped to a third-place mark in the high jump on the top 10 rankings in addition to their shared victory in the event.
- Kiera Baxter finished with a 5.53m mark in the long jump, pushing her to seventh on the indoor charts.
