- Started the season with a third place finish in the javelin (40.12m) at the UMass Minuteman Invitational (4/15)
- Picked up a second place finish at the Yale Springtime Invitational (4/30) in the javelin with a mark of 38.76m
- Closed out her career placing fifth in the javelin at the MAAC Championships (5/6) with a mark of 38.85m

- After not throwing over 40m in her first two seasons, Mears finished the 2016 season with four straight throws of 40m+ in the javelin
- Posted a program record throw of 42.34m to earn her fifth place in the javelin at the New England Championships (5/13)
- Placed 14th out of 31 competitors in the javelin throw at the Colonial Relays (4/1) with a throw of 34.77m to start the season
- Earned a third place result at the UMass Minuteman Invitational (4/16) with a throw of 37.10m in the javelin
- Captured her first gold medal of the season with a first place finish in the javelin at the Wolfie Invitational (4/23) as she threw 40.67m
- Went back-to-back with another first place finish in the javelin at the Yale Springtime Invitational (5/1) with a throw of 40.24m
- Placed 15th overall in both the shot put (9.78m) and discus throw (28.61m) at the MAAC Championships (5/7)
- Finished in third place for a second straight year at the MAAC Championships as she posted a throw of 41.12m
AS A JUNIOR IN 2015:
- 2015 Yale Springtime Invitational Javelin Throw Champion
- 2014-15 CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District 1 First Team
- 2015 MAAC All-Academic Team
- Earned the 2014-15 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honor, bestowed as one of 11 First Team selections in a region comprised of seven states in the Northeast
- Mears owned a cumulative GPA of 3.98, the highest GPA of all female student-athletes in the junior class at Quinnipiac
- Placed fifth in the javelin throw at the Rider Invite (4/11) with a throw of 35.30m
- Became the first javelin thrower in program history to earn a gold medal as she captured first place at the Yale Springtime Invitational (4/26) with a season high throw of 39.84m
- Captured third place at the MAAC Championships (5/3) as she threw 37.84m to become the highest finisher in the javelin at a conference championship in program history
- Took 11th place out of 23 competitors in the javelin throw at the New England Championships (5/7) with a throw of 37.40m
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014:
- 2014 MAAC All-Academic Team
- Her and teammate Cori Reid were the first Bobcats in program history to compete in any javelin throw events
- She started the season with a pair of 2nd place finishes at the Rider Invitational (35.24m) and Yale Invitational (33.78)
- Continued to progress as the season went along and came up with 4th place overall (out of 10) at the MAAC Championships with a throw of 36.13m
- Finished the season with a program record of 36.38m achieved at the New England Championships where she placed 15th overall (out of 25)
