Quinnipiac Wins 2026 MAAC Outdoor Title, Claims Triple Crown in Season Sweep

EMMITSBURG, Md. — The Quinnipiac women's track and field program completed the season sweep of the 2025-26 MAAC Championships, winning the outdoor title with 164.25 points to best the host Mount St. Mary's by 25.25 over the two-day meet at The Mount.
Quinnipiac became the first MAAC school since Manhattan in 2002-03 to sweep all three titles.
Izzie Anzaldo earned Women's Most Outstanding Track Performer Honors, winning three events and heading to the podium four times on Sunday with wins in the 4x100, the 200m, 400m and earning second in the 4x400 to close out the day. She was part of a pair of championship records.
Also highlighting the day's action was Gabby Appiah, who won the shot put in her first season on the track and field team, as well as Nyasia Dailey winning her fifth MAAC title across indoor and outdoor, sprinting to her second consecutive MAAC crown in the 100m race.
Lauren Fadairo earned third in a highly-competitive triple jump field that saw a pair of marks go higher than the incoming Championship record, while the relays closed strong with a pair of second-place finishes in both the 4x400 (3:46.63) and 4x800 (9:09.86).
