Dan McGrath oversees the day-to-day equipment needs for Quinnipiac’s 21 Division I varsity programs, which includes management of the department’s contract with Adidas. While the bulk of his duties are to supervise the entire equipment operation for Quinnipiac, he also serves as the primary equipment contact for the Women’s Ice Hockey team.
Dan re-joined Quinnipiac Athletics in June, 2017 in a newly created Assistant Equipment Manager position. He served in that role for 2 years prior to being named the Head Equipment Manager in October 2019.
Prior to returning to Quinnipiac, Dan served as a Resource Coordinator in the Remote Operations Department at ESPN. He spent 2 years in Bristol supporting the ESPN and ABC Sports remote crew members.
Dan graduated from Quinnipiac in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. During his time as an undergrad he walked on to the baseball team as a pitcher for the 2009-10 season, after which he transitioned into a role as a team manager. While in graduate school, Dan worked as a Graduate Assistant, helping with all 21 team on campus. Dan graduated from Quinnipiac with his Master’s in Interactive Media Communications in 2014.
