Dailey Re-Sets 60m School Record at ECAC Championships

NEW YORK — Senior sprinter Nyasia Dailey re-set her 60m school record and inched closer to the league mark over the weekend at the ECAC Championships, highlighting the Bobcats' performance at the two-day meet.
Izzie Anzaldo also made her way to a medal podium at the Championships, finishing third in the 400m by finishing in 55.61. She also finished fifth in the 200m finals.
Among the field events, Olivia DeBellis highlighted the meet, finishing top-five in the pole vault with a personal-best mark of 3.66m, hitting on her second attempt at the height.
The Bobcats as a team finished in ninth, totaling 33.5 points over the two days.

The Bobcats head back to Yale for its final meet before the MAAC Championships. They will compete on Feb. 14 in New Haven.

TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
- Dailey improved her own school record, finishing the 60m race in 7.41 seconds.
- Avery Palmucci ran 17:18.74 in the 5000m, inserting herself into the top 10 in program history at the 10th-best spot.
- DeBellis' PR in the pole vault pulled her into a tie for second with Erin Brennan for the top indoor marks in program history.
- The 4x800 relay ran 9:12.21, good for 10th all-time in program history. The team was comprised of Ashlynn Witt, Claire O'Sullivan, Zoe Merryman and Ryan Kelly.
- The Distance Medley Relay team ran 11:59.45, becoming one of nine teams in Bobcat history to break the 12-minute mark. That team was made up of Rachel St. Germain, Isabella Pistoia, Alessandra Zaffina and Ashley Carillo.
