QU Earns Second Straight Victory, Takes Jasper Fall Invite

Two in top four, five in Top 12 power Bobcats to win
MONTGOMERY, N.Y. — Sierra Gray and Rachel St. Germain again led the way for the Quinnipiac women's cross country team, with both placing in the top four and three other Bobcats finishing inside the top 12 to earn the squad its second win in as many tries to begin the 2025 campaign.
Competing at the Jasper Fall Invite, site of the 2025 MAAC Championships, Gray finished the 6k race in 20:26.8, followed 25 seconds later by St. Germain who led the second pack of runners across the finish line to score for Quinnipiac.
The team bested Patriot League foe Bucknell by seven points and six fellow MAAC foes in the field, led by Marist who placed third.
Madeline O'Neill, Zoe Merryman and Weronika Lewna finished 10th, 11th and 12th to finish the scoring for the Bobcats.

Quinnipiac heads to the national portion of their schedule, trekking to the annual Paul Short Run on Oct. 3 in Bethlehem, Pa. on the campus of Lehigh.

- It is the second consecutive meet Gray finished inside the Top 2, following up her win at the Stony Brook Season Opener with a runner-up spot on Saturday.
- Lewna bested her course-best by 40 seconds, finishing in 21:39.
- O'Neill secured her second straight top 10 finish, matching her spot from the Stony Brook Season Opener two weeks ago.
- Merryman has scored in back to back meets for the Bobcats, placing 11th on Saturday after finishing 9th at Stony Brook.
