Oak Tabbed MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac men's lacrosse goalie Mason Oak has been named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, as revealed by the league office on Monday, March 17, 2025.
Oak, the Preseason Player of the Year in the league, made an impressive total of 21 saves in a Quinnipiac win at Marist this past weekend. The junior made 9 stops in the fourth quarter alone, helping QU improve to 2-0 in MAAC play with an 8-7 road victory.
Oak 94 saves over seven games this season. His 13.43 saves per game ranks 11th nationally.
He is the second Bobcat to earn a MAAC weekly honor this year. Frank Moussa was named Faceoff Specialist of the Week back on March. 3.
