EDISON, N.J. – Gal Raviv was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year and the MAAC Player of the Year after her historic first season in Hamden. Head coach Tricia Fabbri was named the 2025 Coach of the Year, as announced by the league office on Monday, March 10th.
Raviv is Quinnipiac's first conference Rookie of the Year since Aryn McClure earned those honors after the 2015-16 season and the program's first Player of the Year since Mackenzie Dewees (2020-21). The first-year guard from Kadima, Israel, came into Hamden and made an immediate impact, starting in all 29 games for the Bobcats while averaging 18.0 points per game. Raviv averaged 36.4 minutes per game, which ranks first on the team, first in the MAAC, and 17th in the NCAA. Raviv eclipsed the 500-point mark in her first season, scoring 522 points and becoming the first player to score 500+ points in a single season since Jasmine Martin (512) in the 2013-14 season.
