Prier and Cooper Tabbed for ECAC Weekly Awards

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — After a successful end to the regular season at home both Bryn Prier and Kendall Cooper were named for ECAC Hockey weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Bryn Prier was named ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week presented by Bluebird Hotels after a five-point weekend, including her first career natural hat trick on Friday night against RPI. All three goals came in a 2:47 minute span of the third period for the fastest natural hat trick in program history. She also added an assist on Friday night before scoring the opening goal of the game against Union on Saturday afternoon.
Kendall Cooper notched four assists to be named the Defender of the Week for ECAC Hockey. Two assists came on Friday night including on the eventual game-winner against RPI. She also dished two assists against Union on Saturday afternoon to bring her season total up to 25 and career total to 82, two points behind Nicole Kosta '16 for second place on the all-time assist list.
Prier, Cooper, and the Bobcats have their last game on home ice this weekend, hosting Harvard in the opening round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 PM at M&T Bank Arena.
