No. 5 Quinnipiac Drops Matchup at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The No. 5 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program dropped a road contest at Yale on Friday night, falling by a 4-2 scoreline at Ingalls Rink in New Haven.
The Bobcats came flying out of the gates, scoring a pair of goals in the first 10:15 courtesy of Antonin Verreault and Charlie Leddy and the visitors were off to the races.
Yale fired back with a goal 3:12 later to make it 2-1 heading into the first intermission and would score the next three goals unanswered, as James Shannon tied it going into the third before David Chen scored the game-winner at the 16:21 mark of the third.
The Bulldogs added an empty netter late to seal the scoring, dropping Quinnipiac to 5-3-2 on the year.

The Bobcats head to Providence on Saturday night to take on Brown in the second game of the weekend.

- Markus Vidicek added a secondary assist on the second goal, extending his points streak to five games. He has six points during that span.
- Ethan Wyttenbach dished the helper on the Verreault goal and now has points in nine of 10 contests.
- Leddy scored his first of the season and second as a Bobcat.
- Verreault added his third tally of the year.
