Zimmerman Leads Scoring Charge (22), Jones Nets New Career-High (18)
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned a double-digit victory over Stonehill on Sunday afternoon at M&T Bank Arena, as the Bobcats powered past the Skyhawks 76-62.
Jaden Zimmerman led QU's scoring charge once again, posting 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting.
Asim Jones set a new career-high with 18 points of his own. Jones also added four assists and three rebounds in the victory.
Amarri Monroe registered 18 points and seven rebounds, finishing with a team-high +20 plus/minus rating.

- Jaden Zimmerman recorded 15 points in the first half on 6-of-8 shooting, leading QU to a 41-32 advantage at the break.
- The Bobcats then went on a quick 14-5 run from 18:56 – 14:54 in the second half, extending the lead to 55-39.
- Quinnipiac used another 13-3 spurt over a 6:34 span, leading 68-46 on an Asim Jones jumper with 6:53 to go.
- Quinnipiac's bench outscored Stonehill 42-28 in total. The Bobcats led for 30:19, and QU's largest lead was 22 points (6:53 in second half).
- The Bobcats shot 29-of-61 (47.5%) from the field in total, sinking eight triples in the win.
- Quinnipiac outscored Stonehill 28-3 in points off turnovers. The Bobcats' defense forced 15 miscues from Stonehill.
- Jaden Zimmerman led Quinnipiac with 22 points. The sophomore guard has posted 48 points over the Bobcats' last two contests. He finished Sunday's win 7-of-12 from the floor and 3-of-5 from distance. Zimmerman leads QU with 16.5 points per game so far in 2025-26.
- Asim Jones set a new career-best mark with 18 points. He also added four assists and three rebounds via 7-of-15 shooting. He has three games with 10+ points this year at QU.
- Amarri Monroe stuffed the box score once again, recording 18 points, seven rebounds and five steals. He's registered 3.4 steals per contest so far in 2025-26, which ranks Top 10 nationally. Monroe is up to 168 career steals, climbing Quinnipiac's career leaderboard. He is chasing Kason Mims ('04, 189 steals) for the Bobcats' Division I career record. QU's all-time record belongs to Boyd Johnson ('91, 232 steals).
- Grant Randall chipped in with six points and four rebounds. Tai Turnage recorded five points and three rebounds, while Keith McKnight added four points and five boards.
- Samson Reilly went 1-for-1 from 3-point distance off the bench. He's now 23-of-34, good for a 67.7% clip which leads the entire country.
- Quinnipiac is now 3-1 against Stonehill over the past four seasons.
- Quinnipiac will now turn its attention to the MAAC opener on Friday night in New Rochelle, as the Bobcats and Gaels will square off at 7:00 PM on ESPN+.
- The Bobcats return to Hamden on Sunday, Dec. 7, playing host to MAAC foe Rider at 2:00 PM from M&T Bank Arena.
