Bobcats Wrap Competition at South Florida Invite, UMass Flagship Opener

HAMDEN, CONN. — The Quinnipiac women's track and field program made a pair of appearances this weekend, with the team competing at the South Florida Invitational and UMass Flagship Opener this weekend.

The Bobcats posted six finishes inside the Top 20 in Tampa, Fla., highlighted by Camille Blain's 11^th-place finish in the javelin and Alyssa Romagnoli placing 12^th in the 800m as one of three Quinnipiac runners in the event. The squad also earned a seventh-place in the 4x400 relay, clocking in at 3:53.77.

Quinnipiac placed six inside the top 10 at UMass on Sunday afternoon. Marisa Keiser took the victory in the 5k, finishing in 18:25.98 and a pair of Bobcats finished in the top seven in the 400 hurdles, with Emma Byrne taking sixth and Sadie Souls placing seventh.

UP NEXT
The full Bobcat squad competes together for the first time next weekend, as they all head to the Bison Invitational on the campus of Bucknell. The team will compete April 13-14.
