Germain Surpasses 100 Career Points in Win
QUEENS, NY – Quinnipiac Men's Lacrosse opened up the 2024 season in stellar fashion on Saturday, Feb. 10, downing St. John's on the road by the final score of 17-11.
Dylan Donnery scored a game-high five goals to pace QU offensively.
Ryan Donnery added three goals and three assists, and John DeLucia chipped in with three goals and two helpers.
Junior Mason Oak made 19 in front of the cage during an impressive season debut.

- Oak made 10 saves in the first half, then nine stops in the second half to help lead the Bobcats to a win.
- Sophomore Max Pauwels won 10-of-20 faceoffs and scooped up six ground balls.
- Frank Mousa also won a pair of battles in the x.
- The Bobcats went 23-of-27 in clears.
- Chase Young caused a pair of turnovers.
- John DeLucia's five-point performance puts him over 100 scores for his career. He's got 71 goals and 30 assists in his QU career.
- Dylan Donnery now has 71 goals over 34 career games with the Bobcats.
- Ryan Donnery scored three times and added three assists in his return to the field. He scored 31 total points for QU in 2022 before missing the entire 2023 campaign.
- Steven Germain tallied one goal and two helpers, Trevor Douglas scored twice, while Evan Perry, Owen Murray, and Luke Hendricks each scored once.
- 17 goals marks the most scores Quinnipiac has had in a win since last season's opener vs. UMass Lowell (21-12 on 2/11/23).
- QU has won each of its last three season openers under Head Coach Mason Poli.
