HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 17/18 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program rings in the New Year on the ice, as the Bobcats head to ECAC foe Harvard to drop the puck on 2025.
Harvard won the matchup at M&T Bank Arena on Nov. 9 in 3-0 fashion.

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 17/18 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program rings in the New Year on the ice, as the Bobcats head to ECAC foe Harvard to drop the puck on 2025.
Harvard won the matchup at M&T Bank Arena on Nov. 9 in 3-0 fashion.
JACK OF ALL GOALSCORERS
- Grad student Jack Ricketts set a new Division I program mark on Sunday afternoon, scoring four goals in 39 minutes, including a natural hat trick, to aid the Bobcats in their 6-5 victory over AIC.
- Ricketts recorded his second hat trick of 2024 and the Bobcats' first of the season. It was also the first natural hat trick since Travis St. Denis in 2014.
- With the four tallies, he took over the NCAA active goalscoring lead with 54 to his name, three ahead of Minnesota's Jimmy Snuggerud.
MAGIC MASON
- The Greely, Ontario native is on the longest points streak of his career, currently recording a point in eight consecutive contests.. He has recorded nine points over that span, the third-longest active streak in the country.
- He has recorded an assist in five consecutive contests, tied for the second-longest active streak. Providence's Logan Will has a six-game helper stretch, the longest active in the country.
POWERED UP
- The Quinnipiac power play has been a strong point during the 2024-25 campaign, as the Bobcats boast one of the nation's most potent attacks with the man advantage.
- Quinnipiac enters the New Year with the ECAC's leading power-play percentage at 26.3, while that number also puts them eighth in the nation.
- The Bobcats have scored a power play goal in eight of their last nine games, led by captain Travis Treloar who has five man-up goals.
GOTTA GET 'EM EARLY...
- Starting fast has been the key to success for the Bobcats this season, with early goals almost always equaling wins in the first half.
- Quinnipiac has led after the first period six times this season, with all six turning into victories. The Bobcats have also scored first in six of their contests to begin the year, with those six also turning into wins.
MAN-ADVANTAGE MACHINE
- Grad student and captain Travis Treloar is amongst the nation's best when it comes to capitalizing on the power-play. He currently has five man-advantage goals this season, which leads the ECAC and is seventh in the country.
- He also has 22 for his career, the most by any active Division I skater and the second-most for any active men's college hockey player.
