
Bobcats Finish Competition at New England Championships

HANOVER, N.H. — The Quinnipiac women's cross country team participated at the New England Championships on Friday night and were led by junior Sierra Gray, who placed eighth in the 5k race.
Gray made her first appearance since the Stony Brook Season Opener on Aug. 31 and finished in a collegiate-best 18:05.0 on the race.
STATS AND NOTES
Quinnipiac heads to the national stage next week, competing in the XC24 PreNational Race at the University of Wisconsin, site of the 2024 NCAA National Championship.
The Bobcats will be racing at 1:40 p.m. Eastern.

- The 18:05 mark is her fastest cross country 5k in a collegiate race for her and was her first top 10 finish in a championship cross country meet in her collegiate career.
- Alison DiClemente (19:36.2) and Ryan Kelly (19:37.8) rounded out the Bobcat top three in the event.
- Junior Brianna Minervino improved her time in the meet by 29.9 seconds from a year ago, finishing this event in 23:28.7.
