Bobcats Place Three on NEIBA All-New England Team

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac baseball team placed three players on the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) Division I All-New England Teams, as announced by the NEIBA on Friday, June 2.
Anthony Donofrio and Keegan O'Connor were both named to the NEIBA All-New England First Team while Kevin Seitter was named to the second team. The NEIBA All-New England teams are voted on by the region's head coaches.
Donofrio, a First Team All-MAAC selection, earned All-New England honors for the first time in his career. Donofrio had a spectacular senior season for Quinnipiac, boasting a .364 average, 16 home runs, 64 RBI, and 31 stolen bases. His 64 RBI and 31 stolen bases both are new Quinnipiac single-season program records.
O'Connor, a First Team All-MAAC selection, has been stellar this season for the Bobcats with a .342 batting average with 78 hits, 16 doubles, 13 home runs, 60 RBIs, and 51 runs scored. He has career-highs in nearly every offensive category and threw out a career-best 13 attempted base stealers.
Seitter, a Second Team All-MAAC selection, has thrived in his senior season for the Bobcats. Seitter enjoyed his best season as a senior as he led the team in wins (8), complete games (3), ERA (3.58), innings pitched (88.0), and strikeouts (79).
Seitter's 79 strikeouts on the season are tied for the third most punchouts in a single season in Div. I program history. His 88 innings pitched stands as the most in a single season by a player in program history, while his eight wins are tied for the most by a player in the program's Div. I program history.
