
Five Bobcats Place in Top Five at UMass Flagship Invite

BOSTON — The Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field team restarted its 2022-23 campaign with the UMass Flagship Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
Five Bobcats recorded top five finishes, including Marisa Keiser winning the 5000-meters, crossing the line in 18:21.30.
Grace Michaud and Lydia Keys finished second and fourth, respectively. Michaud clocked in at 18:32.86, while Keys' time was 19:18.41.
Rylie Smith and Alyssa Romagnoli also finished in the top five of the 400 meters, with Smith (57.54) coming in third and Romagnoli (57.84) finished fifth.
NOTES
The Bobcats return to action next weekend, heading to Kingston, R.I., for the URI Co-Ed Invitational.

NOTES
- Smith's 400m places her on the program Top 10 list in the event, besting Melissa Solomon's time for ninth all-time. It is her personal best time in the event, her second PB of the day. She also set a new best time in the 200m (25.80).
- Rachel St. Germain entered the Top 10 list in the 3000m, clocking in at 10:02.77.
- Freshman Sophia Jones placed sixth in the 800m, running a personal-best time of 2:26.07.
- Olaitan Olagundoye set a new personal, high mark in the triple jump, marking at 10.99m. That is also the sixth-best performance on the program's Top 10 list.
- In addition to five inside the Top 5, the Bobcats placed 11 inside the Top 10.
