Bobcats Win Second-Straight League Award to Begin 2022

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse's Steven Germain has been named MAAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, Feb. 21.

Germain is the second Quinnipiac player to win the award in the first two weeks of the season. Will Abbott was named Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Feb. 14.

Germain recorded six goals and three assists for nine total points this past week for the Bobcats in a pair of games. He tallied two goals and one helper on 2/16 at LIU, then scored an impressive four goals to go along with two assists on 2/19 at Brown.

He leads the Bobcats with 11 total points (six goals, five assists) so far this year.

Germain and the Bobcats return on Friday, Feb. 25, heading to Sacred Heart to continue the non-league schedule.
