Gay Earns Third MAAC Track Performer of the Week Award

EDISON, N.J. - Senior Aisha Gay has been named the MAAC Track Performer of the Week for her performance this weekend at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the Yale Giegengack Invitational, as announced by the league on Tuesday, Feb. 15. This is the senior's third MAAC weekly award win this season.
Gay led the Bobcats in the 200m event, finishing in second place and notching a career-best time of 24.37 at BU. She is now ranked first in the MAAC in the 200m with the new career-best time and third on the program's top-ten list.
Gay also competed at Yale in the 60m dash and finished with a time of 7.84 in fourth place.
The Bobcats will be back in action this weekend at the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in New York City at The Armory.
