HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer is looking towards the post season as they head to Jersey City, New Jersey to take on Saint Peter's in an afternoon matinee on Saturday, Oct. 22 for a 12 p.m. start time.

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer is looking towards the post season as they head to Jersey City, New Jersey to take on Saint Peter's in an afternoon matinee on Saturday, Oct. 22 for a 12 p.m. start time.
LAST TIME OUT: TAKING OVER MANHATTAN (3-7-3, 1-5-2 MAAC)
- Quinnipiac women's soccer defeated Manhattan 5-1 on Wednesday, Oct. 19 with four Bobcats tallying goals in the match
- Senior Olivia Scott opened up scoring early, just a minute and 39 seconds in, her two goals on the night marked her first multi-point night of the season.
- Junior Rebecca Cooke buried her 19th goal of the year and officially took first in the nation for goals scored and added two assists on the night to put her at 43 points on the year.
- Senior Markela Bejleri recorded two assists in the victory over the Jaspers which was her first multi-point game of the season.
- Rebecca Cooke moved into first in the nation in goals scored with 19.
- Courtney Chochol is second in the nation in assists with 12, just three points behind the national leader.
- Quinnipiac is currently ranked first national in scoring offense with 3.07 per game with UCLA a very close second with 3.07.
- The Bobcats are fourth in the nation for points per game with an 8.79 average and 123.00 points in total.
- The Peacocks are 4-12-0 on the year and 3-5-0 in MAAC play.
- Saint Peter's are coming off of a 1-0 win over Siena on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
- QU is 11-1-0 all-time against the Peacocks since 2004 with their longest win streak coming in at nine games.
- The last time the two met was in 2021 when the Bobcats won 5-0 at home in Hamden.
- The Bobcats have averaged 3.42 goals against the Peacocks all-time.
- Quinnipiac women's soccer has been selected as the preseason MAAC favorite, as announced on Thursday, Aug. 11 by the league office.
- The Bobcats earned the No. 1 spot in the 2022 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, receiving 10 of 11 first-place votes and 116 total points.
- Junior Rebecca Cooke was also tabbed the league's Preseason Player of the Year. The Dublin, Ireland-native scored a team-high 13 goals last year for Quinnipiac, including six scores against MAAC opponents.
- Cooke is joined by senior midfielder Markela Bejleri on the Preseason All-MAAC Team. Bejleri recorded 14 points over 19 games this past season at QU.

- Dave Clarke enters his 23rd season at Quinnipiac.
- Clarke has firmly cemented himself as one of the premiere college coaches in the NCAA's highest division. He led the Bobcats to an NCAA Tournament berth in 2000 and a regular season title in 2001, and is the winningest coach in QU program history.
- The Bobcats 2022 fall schedule features 16 total contests, including eight home games at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden.
- The Bobcats will open the fall slate on Thursday, Aug. 18 on the road against Lafayette. Quinnipiac then returns to Hamden for its home opener against Stony Brook on Aug. 25.
- The MAAC Tournament will take place on Oct. 30, Nov. 3 and Nov. 6 at the highest seed
- The Bobcats went 13-5-1 last year, going 7-3 in MAAC play during the fall 2021 campaign.
- Quinnipiac reached the MAAC Championship, falling against Monmouth on Nov. 7 in West Long Branch, N.J.
- QU has advanced to at least the semifinal round of the postseason MAAC Tournament in five of the last six years.
