HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac volleyball team looks to earn its second consecutive home victory, as the Bobcats play host to Siena on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Burt Kahn Court.
THE MATCHUP: vs. SIENA
● Wednesday's match between the Bobcats and Gaels will mark the 26th meeting between the two programs
● Siena owns a 16-9 record all-time against Quinnipiac
● The Bobcats own a four-game win streak over the Saints, dating back to 2019
● The last time the two sides matched up, Quinnipiac came away with a five-set victory over Siena in Loudonville on Sept. 24, 2022
● Alexandra Tennon posted 16 kills and 13 digs for her third double-double of the season in the victory
● Aryanah Diaz added 14 kills and 12 digs for the Bobcats
● The Saints enter the match 6-11 on the season and 4-3 in MAAC contests

● Tennon posted 16 kills and 13 digs for her third double-double of the season, while Aryanah Diaz added 14 kills and 12 digs for the Bobcats in the victory.
DOMINANT DIAZ
● Senior Aryanah Diaz got off to a hot start to open MAAC competition

● First year Ginevra Giovagnoni has totaled 89 kills on the season

● Giovagnoni has led the Bobcats in kills in three matches this season
● Giovagnoni was named the MAAC Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday, Aug. 30
● This was the first weekly award honor for Giovagnoni this season after just two games played
● She combined to tally a team-best 31 kills, 15 digs, two service aces and a block in Quinnipiac's opening matches against Stony Brook and Fordham
● Giovagnoni recorded nine kills, eight digs and two service aces in the Bobcats' opener at Stony Brook
