HAMDEN, CT — The Quinnipiac women's volleyball team showed incredible resilience on Saturday afternoon at Burt Kahn Court, outlasting Marist in a thrilling five-set match (29-27, 23-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-12) to secure a crucial Metro Conference victory

- Set 1 (Quinnipiac 29, Marist 27): In a marathon opening frame featuring 13 tie scores and 5 lead changes, the Bobcats outlasted the Red Foxes
. Sophia Minlend spearheaded the Bobcats' attack with six kills during the first stanza. - Set 2 (Marist 25, Quinnipiac 23): Marist responded by tightening its block and capitalizing on Bobcat errors to edge out a tight 25-23 win
. - Set 3 (Marist 25, Quinnipiac 20): The Red Foxes kept up their momentum in the third frame, taking a 25-20 decision to build a 2-1 match lead

Quinnipiac locked down defensively and executed in transition, sealing the 15-12 frame and securing a thrilling five-set victory
. Sophia Minlend registered four kills and Asia Belli had three during the final set to help clinch the victory. Klara Olszewska assisted on nine of QU's 15 points during the fifth set.

- Sophia Minlend spearheaded the Bobcats' attack with 16 kills while adding 13 digs and a pair of blocks for a 19.5-point performance
. The first-year Bobcat is up to 140 kills for the 2026 campaign. - Sahra Ozbiltekin turned in a stellar all-around match with 15 kills and 16 digs.
- Asia Belli was highly efficient at the net, chipping in 11 kills on a blistering .556 hitting percentage
. Belli ties a career-high mark with 11 kills (she also recorded 11 kills on 9/29/26 vs. Merrimack). - Giulia Ragusa added 13 kills and 12 digs to help propel the Bobcats to a conference win, as well. She leads Quinnipiac with 182 total kills this season.
- Klara Olszewska orchestrated the Quinnipiac offense, dishing out a match-high 56 assists alongside 9 digs. She ties her career-best mark for helpers, as Olszewska also registered 56 assists on 9/5/26 at Delaware State.
- Didar Bulbul led the Bobcats with 17 total digs.
