LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Quinnipiac men's basketball earned a comeback road victory in OT, 77-70, on Friday night against Rider.

The Bobcats outscored Rider 9-2 over the final 1:37 of overtime. Jacob Rigoni and Matt Balanc both recorded 17 points and five rebounds to lead the way for QU.

The win is Quinnipiac's first-ever victory at Alumni Gym. The Bobcats have now won five of the last six meetings vs. Rider.

The Bobcats shot 43.3% in the second half, and held Rider to a 28.6% clip over the final 20 minutes of regulation. QU then went 5-for-8 in overtime
Rider opened the game on a 12-0 run, taking a 32-26 lead into the break.
Quinnipiac then opened up the second half on a 9-0 run over the first 3:04.
15 of Jacob Rigoni's 17 points came in the second half. Rigoni knocked down three 3-pointers in the second stanza. The graduate student added five rebounds in 34 minutes.
Matt Balanc also had 17 points in 34 minutes. He also grabbed five rebounds.
Brendan McGuire stuffed the stat sheet with eight points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He went 3-of-7 from the floor.
Kevin Marfo grabbed 12 rebounds and scored seven points. Marfo has nine games of double-digit rebounds already this year.
JJ Riggins and Tyrese Williams both chipped in with eight points.
QU outscored Rider 34-22 in the paint.
The Bobcats' bench outscored the Broncs' by a 24-15 margin.
Quinnipiac led for just 4:44 in total.
The win is Baker Dunleavy's 60^th at Quinnipiac.
